The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebration of the Women Group Product Day programme was held yesterday, 13th June, 2024. The event was held at Commerce House in the highly commercial and business area of Victoria Island, Lagos-Nigeria. The programme tagged ‘Product day‘, brought together women entrepreneurs from across the city. It was held as part of LCCI’s commitment to investment in education, deepening of educational insights, broadening investment scopes through gender initiatives. It showcased talents and innovation from crafts and fashions to innovative business solutions. Its mission is to empower women to showcase their entrepreneural skills. GS1 Nigeria Retail and Training department was on hand to train the members on the topic ‘Packaging as a Marketing Tool’. Using GS1 Standards, the training was delivered by GS1 Training Manager, Mr. Julius Adedoyin with support from GS1 Nigeria Retail Executive, Mr. Emmanuel Ekuma.
