How to obtain a Global Trade Item Number(GTIN)
A GTIN is a GS1 identification key that is used to Identify Trade Items i.e., any product that is traded, bought, sold, or invoiced in any supply chain. The GTIN is usually assigned by the brand owner of the product.

How to obtain a Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC)
A SSCC is a GS1 Identification Key that is used to identify Logistical Units for the purpose of transport and storage e.g., a shipper or a pallet. To obtain a SSCC, please reach out to GS1 Nigeria for more information.
How to obtain a Global Location Number(GLN)
A GLN is a GS1 identification key that is used to Identify Locations. For the purpose of Track and Trace(Traceability), a GLN for a physical location will be required. The GLN is usually assigned by the owner of the physical location.

Capture Standards
Capture standards can be Barcodes or Electronic Product Code Radio Frequency Identification Systems(EPC-RFID). They encode GS1 Identification keys and other information where necessary for track and trace. For the purpose of pharmaceutical and medical device traceability in healthcare, barcodes are used.
